We gather together today in Love. We gather together to celebrate the
union of Love. We gather together as family and friends to witness and
support the union of marriage between Kaci and Ryan.
The union of marriage is a symbol of God's love for God's people. God is
Love. God loves us. So God gives God to God's people. All that God
asks of us is to share this love, just as we have been loved.
Love is the greatest gift that Kaci and Ryan can give to each other.
Without Love, Life has little meaning because Love is patient, Love is kind.
It is not jealous, Love is not pompous, it is not inflated, it is not rude,
it does not seek its own interests. It does not rejoice over wrongdoing,
but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes
all things, endures all things. Love never fails. So Faith, Hope and Love
remain from God, and of these three, the greatest is Love.
Marriage is the creative Love of God.
Marriage is a holy Love which is both faithful and fruitful.
It is a permanent union where two become one. Ryan and Kaci love each
other so much that they give themselves to each other, and in a way, give
themselves up - to form a bond, a union of Oneness, forming one Life and
creating one Family.
So our Prayer for Kaci and Ryan is this.
God we pray to You, Let Kaci and Ryan open their hearts every day to the
Spirit, whose power never fails, and who enables them to love each other
as God has loved them.
We celebrate their marriage today and everyday, and pray that nothing
ever destroys the union of Love which this marriage proclaims.
Let Ryan and Kaci forever love each other and let their love be
strengthened by every mountain and thru every valley.
And as they wander this Earth, let Kaci and Ryan never cease to be in
wonder of each other.
God, let your Love be the product of every season and forever shower your
blessings on this Holy union between Kaci and Ryan.
We ask this this as we ask all our prayers to You and through You, who
makes all things possible.
God, we praise You and give You Thanksgiving for the gifts of Life, Love
and this Blessed Union between Kaci and Ryan.
Amen.
